About Us

We are a small home bakery that specializes in Indonesian desserts.

I began this journey in the attempt to bring childhood memories back with a simple kue, aka cake. Before this business was even a thought, I would make different types of Indonesian desserts for fun and to get closer to my culture. I would offer some to my parents and almost every dessert that they tried had a story of when they were back home. Whether it was my mom flashbacking to when she was younger and would get herself an Alpukat Kocok drink at the market while shopping.

Another story is when my parents tried my Kue Pepare and it would remind them of the dozens of vendors right outside of their house on a very narrow street in Surabaya selling anything from Sate, Martabak, and other desserts just like my Kue Pepare. Their stories were so vivid it felt like I was there! If one kue can spark that much joy to my parents, I just had to share it. Our goal as an Indonesian dessert company is to take you to the motherland.
